Mission Statement
Continuum Firearms Training, LLC's mission is to professionally educate the general public on the safe handling, operation, firing, cleaning and storage of firearms. We also aim to instruct, evaluate and certify firearm owners pursuing their State of Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL) in accordance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations, placing great emphasis on the legalities and responsibilities entrusted to them upon completion of a state-approved CCL course.
About the Owner
Darian, Owner and Lead Instructor of Continuum Firearms Training LLC, has spent the majority of his life around firearms. The son of a Cook County Sheriff's Officer and the grandson of a U.S. Army Korean War Bronze Star recipient, firearm safety has always been his top priority. Joining the U.S. Air Force at the age of 17, he went on to serve across the world, deploying to Iraq while attached to the U.S. Marine Corps in 2008 and 2009, receiving additional weapons training from the U.S. Army's 10th Mountain Division and I Marine Expeditionary Force Regimental Combat Teams 1 and 5 (I MEF, RCT 1 and RCT 5). After his retirement from the military, Darian went on to obtain his Bachelor of Arts, an Ivy League Master of Science, and begin his PhD journey in Social Work with emphasis on healthcare, mental health, disabilities, substance use, and veterans, all while simultaneously passing on his growing knowledge and expanding skill set to others. As a nationally-certified and insured pistol instructor, Darian works with shooters of all ages and experience levels, teaching a wide array of classes and lessons.

IL State Police-Approved Curriculum
Our comprehensive Illinois State Police-approved curriculum covers everything from basic firearms safety to advanced tactics and techniques. We offer numerous courses and private lessons on a variety of topics, including safety, storage, transportation, marksmanship, self-defense, home defense, and concealed carry.
A unique aspect of our company is that we teach "Right of Bang: After the Trigger is Pulled" seminars. A public speaker with combat experience, a Social Work, Mental Health, Policy and Legislation background, Darian heavily emphasizes the mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, criminal and civil challenges that can manifest after a defensive shooting scenario, one he is all too familiar with. Being extremely transparent about his own personal journey, his approach has touched and forever changed the lives and mindset of hundreds of students over the years.
